Guided by a vision to “create Global Knowledge Leaders for the holistic development of humanity”, Pragjyotishpur University (PU) was founded with a mission to nurture “true world leaders” out of individuals “through advanced scholarship, research, and innovation, [and by] facilitating a transdisciplinary approach to provide solutions for achieving sustainable goals of advancement.”
To materialise the said vision and mission, the University shall aspire to bring to its students a sound benchmark of holistic education that should orient them more towards service creation than towards job-seeking alone. This goal shall be executed at the grassroots level by dint of career guidance aimed at instilling in students an outlook to education and career that goes beyond just working to achieve course learning outcomes for assessment purposes.
