Pragjyotishpur University is proud to announce its initiative to establish the Pragjyotishpur Ayurveda Gurukulam, offering the Pre-Ayurveda Programme, with proposed affiliation to Central Sanskrit University, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
This pioneering initiative is envisioned to be among the first of its kind in Northeast India, blending the time-honoured Gurukulam tradition and Bharatiya knowledge systems with contemporary professional education in Ayurveda.

Letter of Intent from Central Sanskrit University
The University has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Central Sanskrit University for further processing, subject to the fulfilment of all prescribed statutory requirements and approvals.

Proposed Campus Master Plan (Schematic)
Schematic master plan of the proposed Ayurveda Gurukulam campus at Pragjyotishpur University, Hajongbari — Plot C (Part-1), spread over approximately 46,150 sqm (30 Bighas). The plan envisages dedicated mandalas for administration (Prashashan Mandala), teaching–learning (Adhyayan-Adhyapan Mandalas), student and faculty residences (Chatra Niwas & Adhyapak Niwas Mandalas), a wellness and treatment facility (Chikitsa, Aram & Swasthya Mandala), along with an Aushadha Udyana (medicinal plant garden), Krishi Bhumi, Gaushala and Hawan Bhumi.
