Dr. Susmita Roy Choudhury Deka is an Assistant Professor in Psychology. She completed her post-graduation with first class second position in Psychology and earned her doctorate from Gauhati University in 2020 for her thesis titled ‘Psychological Well- Being, Emotional and Cultural Intelligence as Predictors of Academic Achievement Among Tribal Adolescents’. She has 8 years of teaching experience and has been a full-time member of InSPA. (Indian School Psychology Association). She has supervised the dissertations of three postgraduate students under IGNOU. She has presented six (6) papers and four research publications to her credit both at national and international level. She has been invited as a resource person for a talk on ‘Planning for Educational Institutions Re-opening and Recovery after Covid-19’ at an International Workshop organized by Professional Institute of Business, Bangladesh. She has counselled 395 students across various schools in Guwahati as a Counselling Psychologist under Project Child from 2014 to 2016. In addition to her academic achievements, she has completed Bisharad (Graduation) on Classical Music. Her areas of interest in teaching comprise of Foundation of Psychology, Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Indian Psychology and Clinical Psychology. Her research interest includes Positive Psychology.

  Dr. Bhaskar Jyoti Das is an Assistant Professor and a dedicated scholar of History with a profound passion for unravelling the intricacies of the past. His academic journey began with rigorous exploration and a commitment to advancing historical understanding. He has completed his Post-Graduation in History from University of Hyderabad and M.Phil from Sikkim University on ‘Neo-Vaishnavism in Sixteenth Century Assam: A Historical Study’ in 2019. He earned his Ph.D. from Sikkim University, having worked on the topic of ‘Women in Medieval Assam: A Historical Study’ that contributes to a more inclusive historical narrative. His academic pursuits reflect an unwavering dedication to historical scholarship and a commitment to shedding light on lesser- explored facets of Assamese history. He is also an awardee of Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for his Doctoral research work. He has published two (2) book chapters in edited volumes and seven (7) research papers in peer-review and UGC care listed and Web of Science Journal. He has qualified SLET in the year 2022.  Dr. Pranab Jyoti Kalita In the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Science at Pragjyotishpur University, Dr. Pranab Jyoti Kalita serves as an Assistant Professor. His higher academic experience began at Gauhati University, where he earned his postgraduation in Sanskrit with specialization in Veda in 2008. He received the M.Phil. Degree for his dissertation, ‘Asvins in the Rgvedasamhita - A Study’ from the same University in 2010. Later, in 2012 and 2013, he qualified the UGC-NET and SLET respectively. His thesis, ‘Women in the Atharvavedasamhita - A Study’ earned him a Ph.D. in 2018 from Gauhati University. He has more than ten years of teaching experience in various higher educational institutions. He has presented several research papers in international conferences, national and regional seminars. He published about fourteen research papers in various journals and books. He edited four volumes of the Journal “Praci” and was also involved in the editorial boards of other books and journals. He is also a certified Yoga teacher and has conducted a lot of free Yoga camps in different places of Assam.

  Dr. Chandra Moni Bhattarai is an Assistant Professor at the department of political science, School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. He specializes in areas such as political theory, international relations, migration studies, Indian government and politics, comparative politics, and parliamentary democracy. Dr. Bhattarai holds a Post-Graduate degree in Political Science from Gauhati University and completed M.Phil and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. With over an eight years of teaching and research experiences, Dr. Bhattarai has publications both in national and International journals. A keen observer and dedicated researcher, Dr. Bhattarai believes in the power of education and research to bring about positive social change.

 Indian traditional knowledge systems, the deconstruction of colonial narratives, foreign policy, and borderland studies

 Kalyanee Devi is an Assistant Professor in AIML and Data Science at Pragjyotishpur University. She did her Bachelor in Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Jorhat Engineering College in the year 2011. She joined TCS in the year 2012 and served as Systems Engineer for 3 and a half years. Later on, she did her M.Tech in IT from Tezpur University in the year 2017 under the GATE fellowship. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D from IIIT Guwahati and submitted her thesis. She has 9 research publications, which include five international journals (SCI/SCOPUS indexed) and four international conference papers (SCOPUS indexed). Her specialization includes Social Network Analysis, Data Science and Analytics, Graph Theory.

I am an outgoing and community-oriented marketing professor with a calm, composed approach to leadership and learning. I believe in the power of marketing not only as a driver of business growth but also as a catalyst for social impact. My research interests span consumer behaviour, digital marketing and analytics, brand strategy, and social impact marketing. I am particularly drawn to studying how consumer values, cultural dynamics, and digital platforms shape marketing effectiveness in both established and emerging markets. With a society-driven outlook, I also explore how marketing can contribute to sustainability, equity, and long-term community value.
