Dr. Susmita Roy Choudhury Deka is an Assistant Professor in Psychology. She completed her post-graduation with first class second position in Psychology and earned her doctorate from Gauhati University in 2020 for her thesis titled ‘Psychological Well- Being, Emotional and Cultural Intelligence as Predictors of Academic Achievement Among Tribal Adolescents’. She has 8 years of teaching experience and has been a full-time member of InSPA. (Indian School Psychology Association). She has supervised the dissertations of three postgraduate students under IGNOU. She has presented six (6) papers and four research publications to her credit both at national and international level. She has been invited as a resource person for a talk on ‘Planning for Educational Institutions Re-opening and Recovery after Covid-19’ at an International Workshop organized by Professional Institute of Business, Bangladesh. She has counselled 395 students across various schools in Guwahati as a Counselling Psychologist under Project Child from 2014 to 2016. In addition to her academic achievements, she has completed Bisharad (Graduation) on Classical Music. Her areas of interest in teaching comprise of Foundation of Psychology, Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Indian Psychology and Clinical Psychology. Her research interest includes Positive Psychology.

Monami Deka is a dynamic and lively personality with a contagious intellect who always attempt to discover new ideas and believe in practical knowledge. She is dedicated to the teaching-learning process and discovering new concepts. Cotton University awarded her a bachelor's degree in Economics. She obtained her postgraduate degree in Economics from Gauhati University, with specialisations in Econometrics, Demography, and Health Economics. She cleared the UGC-NET Economics in the December-2021 & June-2022 (merged cycles). "Pandemic, Public Health, and Good Governance in India" and "Women's Participation in Agriculture in India" are two of her ISBN publications. In 2018, she completed an internship programme at Snehalaya (Centre for Child Rights), Don Bosco Paltan Bazar, Guwahati. In the year 2020, she received the Best Actress Award at Gauhati University's University Week.

Dr. Bhaskar Jyoti Das is an Assistant Professor and a dedicated scholar of History with a profound passion for unravelling the intricacies of the past. His academic journey began with rigorous exploration and a commitment to advancing historical understanding. He has completed his Post-Graduation in History from University of Hyderabad and M.Phil from Sikkim University on ‘Neo-Vaishnavism in Sixteenth Century Assam: A Historical Study’ in 2019. He earned his Ph.D. from Sikkim University, having worked on the topic of ‘Women in Medieval Assam: A Historical Study’ that contributes to a more inclusive historical narrative. His academic pursuits reflect an unwavering dedication to historical scholarship and a commitment to shedding light on lesser- explored facets of Assamese history. He is also an awardee of Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for his Doctoral research work. He has published two (2) book chapters in edited volumes and seven (7) research papers in peer-review and UGC care listed and Web of Science Journal. He has qualified SLET in the year 2022. His area of specialization includes mediaeval society, religious studies and gender history.

Iva Kalita is an assistant professor of sociology at Pragjyotishpur University. She has a multidisciplinary approach to sociology, combining regional and thematic areas, likely integrating the socio-cultural dynamics of North-East India with broader sociological theories. She is engaged in research that addresses both theoretical and practical aspects of sociology, aiming to bring attention to under-researched areas and marginalized communities. She is a graduate in Economics and postgraduate in Sociology from Cotton University. She secured a First-class 1st position in post graduation and was a Gold Medallist in the 2017-2019 batch of Cotton University. She qualified SLET in the year 2022. She was awarded ‘The Harinath Sharma Doloi Memorial Award’ for securing the District's highest marks (Nalbari) in Sanskrit in the HSLC Examination in 2012 and was felicitated by AASU, Nalbari district for securing State highest marks in HS Final Examination in Logic & Philosophy in 2014. She is involved in different social activities such as Flood Relief Camp, Food and Clothes distribution initiatives. She was Group Leader in Namami Brahmaputra Festival in 2017. Kalyanee Devi is an Assistant Professor in AIML and Data Science at Pragjyotishpur University. Ms. Bhaswati Kashyap is currently pursuing her Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) in Pharmacognosy from Assam Science and Technology University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the same university, graduating with First Division. A dedicated academic with hands-on experience in herbal drug formulation, phytochemical analysis, and modern analytical techniques, Ms. Kashyap has been recognized for her contributions to pharmaceutical research, receiving Financial Support for Research Work from the Government of Assam under the Students' Science Project-2023 scheme by the Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC), Department of Science and Technology (Notification No. ASTEC/S&T/206/2023-24/734). Additionally, she was awarded Best Oral Presentation for her work titled "Pharmacognostic profiling and HPTLC analysis of Pogostemon benghalensis (Burm.f.) Kuntze leaf extract" under the "Traditional Knowledge System" category at the NTTTHAC-2024 national seminar held at NEMCARE Group of Institutions, Mirza. Ms. Hiyashree Sharmah serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Pharmacy at Pragjyotishpur University. She holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and is deeply committed to fostering academic excellence and research in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. Her areas of interest include medicinal chemistry, heterocyclic compound synthesis, molecular docking and drug design. She has authored and co-authored several research and review papers published in reputed national and international journals indexed in SCI/SCIE and SCOPUS. Ms. Sharmah has also contributed to a textbook in pharmaceutical chemistry and actively participates in conferences, seminars and faculty development programs to stay abreast of advancements in pharmaceutical education and research.

Beyond academics, Ms. Sharmah is passionate about cultural arts and has successfully completed a seven-year Gunin (Visarad) course in Sattriya Dance, conducted by the Sangeet Sattra Pariksha Parishad, Guwahati. Ms. Runashree Borah is a dynamic early-career academic with a deep-rooted curiosity for the science behind drugs and their interactions with the human body. A postgraduate in Pharmacology from RGUHS, she represents a new generation of pharmacologists who bridge traditional knowledge with modern innovations in biomedical research.

Research Interests

Ms. Runashree Borah's research interest in pharmacology lies in exploring the molecular mechanisms of drug action and resistance, with a focus on optimizing therapeutic efficacy and minimizing adverse effects. She is particularly interested in the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of novel drug compounds, as well as the development of targeted therapies for chronic and infectious diseases. Additionally, she aim to investigate genetical studies and personalized medicine approaches to tailor treatment plans based on individual genetic profiles. By integrating experimental pharmacology with emerging technologies such as computational modeling and high-throughput screening, she will also contribute to the advancement of safer, more effective medications.

Mr. Hemanga Mazumdar is an Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmacy, Pragjyotishpur University. Mr. Geetartha Saikia is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmacy, Pragjyotishpur University. He obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from Pratiksha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2023 and completed his Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutics from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University, in 2025. His research interests primarily focus on nano formulations and advanced drug delivery systems, with particular emphasis on the development of nanogels for targeted and controlled drug delivery. Mr. Saikia is passionate about exploring innovative pharmaceutical formulation strategies to enhance therapeutic efficacy and patient compliance. He is dedicated to fostering research oriented learning among students and contributing to the advancement of pharmaceutics through both academic and applied research.

Research Interests

His research interests focus on the design and development of novel nanoformulations and advanced drug delivery systems for improved therapeutic efficacy. He is particularly interested in stimuli-responsive nanogels, polymeric nanoparticles, and hydrogel-based systems for targeted and controlled drug release. His work also includes exploring phytopharmaceuticals, antioxidant and antimicrobial studies of herbal extracts, and integrating herbal bioactives into nanocarrier systems. Additionally, he is keen on the development of smart drug delivery systems responsive to physiological stimuli such as pH, reactive oxygen species (ROS), and glucose levels, aiming to enhance the precision and effectiveness of modern pharmaceutical therapy.
